ScoMac Catering was appointed by Baillie Gifford and the project design team to develop and deliver the complete food and beverage strategy for the firm’s new Edinburgh headquarters.

Spanning multiple floors, the facility incorporates a café bar, speciality restaurant, main staff restaurant, client hospitality areas and a number of pantry kitchens. Working closely with stakeholders from the earliest concept stages, ScoMac refined the operational layout and commercial kitchen design to balance efficiency, flexibility, aesthetics and user experience.

The main restaurant features a series of satellite food counters offering a diverse range of dining options, centred around a street food inspired theatre kitchen that creates an engaging and interactive user experience.

ScoMac was responsible for the manufacture, procurement and installation of all catering equipment and foodservice areas throughout the building. Delivered over several months, the project included full commissioning support to ensure the operation performed seamlessly from day one, creating a modern workplace dining environment that reflects the quality and standards of the client.
