ScoMac were appointed as part of the design team to develop and deliver a new lounge concept for a blue-chip global company.

The design had to deliver a high-quality self and assisted service drinks bar, complemented by a hot and cold food display counter. The units were constructed using a composite stone top and a Rimex cladding system that was specifically designed for this client. In addition to the bar and food counters, we manufactured and supplied the back-of-house kitchen and decorative lighting suspended above the bar.

Working closely with the wider project team, the objective was to create a space that felt more akin to a premium hospitality venue than a traditional workplace catering facility. Particular attention was paid to the integration of finishes, lighting and equipment, ensuring the operational requirements of the space sat comfortably within a refined and contemporary environment.

Every element was carefully coordinated to provide a seamless guest experience, from food presentation and service flow through to the visual impact of the finished counters and bar area.

The completed lounge provides a versatile destination for informal meetings, refreshments and dining throughout the day, combining high-end aesthetics with the durability and performance required in a busy commercial environment. The result is a sophisticated and welcoming space that reflects the standards and expectations of a leading global organisation.
